Aaden was born August 24, 2008. He was my first child. He was always mama's Angel and daddy's little man. He was the light in our life. God blessed us with this precious angel. You were a great surpise to me and your daddy ! We were so happy. Daddy already knew you were a boy and already had your name picked out.Although you were only here for 3 months. Those three months were the best of my life and your daddys. God had great plans for you my angel. And Aaden, you, accomplished them in more ways than one. Thank you baby. Mom and Dad will see you again one day !
Aaden my Angel
As a gift from above,
Your were brought here to spread your love.
Your small and little precious soul,
has taken on all of our heavy loads.
I asked God why you left.
And he told me "Emily, I needed his help."
"Aaden was an angel you know,
He was my child, now its time to let him go."
I cried and cried for this can't really be true,
and God said,"Emily let him go and I will see him through."
He said," It's okay for your to cry,"
Just don't forget to hum him his lullabies."
And I know in my heart,
You and I, Aaden, we will never part.
When I look to the sky,
Its like the sparkle I would see in your eyes,
You have touched so many lives,
And I know there is more to come.
So Aaden my angel, my first born son,
Knowing you are with God has made me peaceful and calm.

I heard you crying yesterday,
And felt your heart-sent love.

Now, from Heaven up above.
You’re wondering if I’ll celebrate
My Birthday (way up here).
I know you’re missing me today
I feel your essence near.
God planned a special day for me,
He told me with a wink.
He’d ordered me a special cake
(It’s Angel food, I think).
Balloons will fill the streets for me,
They float up through the clouds.
And we have lots of friends up here
That make us laugh out loud.
There is a Birthday carousel,
Jewelled horses ride the wind,

The magic never ends.
I’ve made so many friends, you see
We laugh and play and sing.
We ride our bikes and play the fool
And sleep in Angel’s wings.
But we don’t blow out our candles here
Instead, they light the skies.

As I travel across this land
There is something missing today
It’s my Angel child
The one God took away
He gave me that beautiful child
Then he took them straight away
What was the point I asked
As I knelt down and prayed
I never got to see my child play
And grow like all the others
I thought Lord that was my job
A child, and me to be the Mother.
I never even got any warning
Nothing was ever said
I woke up that sunny morning
To find my sweet child dead.
You gave them life, you stole it
You broke my heart in two

Waiting at the Door
I can’t explain so deep inside
The very fabric of my soul
Only a heart that grieves such loss
Can ever truly understand
It’s like you’re waiting at the door
Until a loved one comes back home
You feel a longing in your heart
When they appear the longing stops
But in a loss that never ends
You’re always standing at that door
You feel the longing in the breeze
So incomplete and never filled

Sweet little Aaden, I was there when you were born and I gave you your first bath. You are a special baby born to a special Mom and Dad. I love you and miss you very much. Rachel has a doll that she has named Baby Aaden, and she and I sing to you every night. Please say hello to my little babies up in heaven.
